Are you an experienced Ward Administrator looking for a new opportunity? Rhodes Wood Children's Hospital in Hatfield are looking for someone to join the team to assist the Consultant, Ward Manager and ward staff to type up all correspondence and documentation, process patient filing and manage calls.
Rhodes Wood Hospital is a well-established specialist tier four CAMHS service based in Brookman's Park, Hatfield. Currently on this site there are two services; a twelve bedded Specialist Inpatient Service for young people with autistic spectrum conditions and mental health issues, and a 30 bedded specialist inpatient service for young people with eating disorders.
Manage all parent, care co-ordinator, referrer phones calls
Liaise with Rhodes Wood School
Keep updated the Carenotes system with all relevant patient information and documentation
Attend and minute meetings as required
Arrange all CPAs, parent meetings and professional meetings
Type up all CPA minutes and distribute
Type up all ICR and clinical review documentation
Type up and distribute discharge summaries
Other relevant and appropriate duties as reasonably required
To be successful as a Ward Administrator, you'll need:
Previous relevant experience in a ward or hospital environment
Previous experience working within administration
GCSE English Language at grade C or above
Knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes
Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
Effective team member
Efficient and enthusiastic
Ability to respond to changes in service / adaptable / open to change
