Job description

  • Ensure excellence in the Company's government affairs agenda across all regional domestic jurisdictions
  • Responsible for consistency in policy, positions, and government relations in the Company's regional operations
  • Identify and respond to emerging state legislation and regulations affecting our industry
  • Provide strategic information, political advice, and other support to regional government affairs staff and property and Company leaders
  • Help create and strengthen relationships with the Company's key stakeholders, including elected officials, public-sector leadership, private-sector partners, and other opinion leaders
  • Minimum 10 years' experience with progressive leadership responsibilities encompassing government relations, issue analysis, and public policy development; including a minimum 5 years' experience lobbying at state level
  • Experience preparing high-level and detail reports for management
  • Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Business Administration, Public Policy, or related area
  • Proven record in the development and oversight of government affairs programs, including initiative management and strategic communications
