Job description

The Transaction Manager will be working at the client's site with the support of a Transaction Coordinator.

The role of the Transaction Manager shall perform transaction management services to the client's various real estate leasing (either as landlord or tenant), subleasing (either as sub-landlord or subtenant), purchase and/or sale transactions (either as buyer or seller).

Description

The outcome of the Services described shall include:

  • Lease rates and terms, purchase prices and disposition proceeds that meet or exceed market expectations from the client's perspective for similar transactions
  • Transactions that are completed on or ahead of schedule and at or under budget targets for transaction costs
  • Accurate and timely reporting and project updates in the client's systems
  • Thorough review of transaction documents for Legal, Risk Management, Environmental Health & Safety, and other compliance requirements
  • Coordination of the client's approvals before the final execution of any transaction

Profile

  • General practice background for either a corporate, public sector or private practice
  • Hands on Transaction Management experience including managing brokers and self-performing where use of a broker is not appropriate
  • Previous experience of working in the MEA or APAC Region would be advantageous
  • Rounded experience of general surveying skills - not restricted to a narrow practice area
  • An understanding of client relationship management
  • Experience in networking and building relationships internally and externally
  • Demonstrable understanding of market and local knowledge
  • Some financial awareness
  • Business and report writing experience
  • Detailed knowledge of current legislation and case law relevant to role
  • IT skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet)
  • IT industry specific packages (i.e. Costar, TRIRIGA)
