Log all incoming calls from the customer base onto the returns log issuing a log reference number. Double check all stock returned from customers is suitable for resale under the Company Returns Procedures.
Answer all customer incoming calls requesting permission to send goods back.
Ensure that all telephone calls are logged on the returns log issuing the next call reference log number to the customer, asking relevant information.
Highlight to the Warehouse Supervisor/ General Manager immediately if a customer claims they are missing an order especially controlled drug items.
Update the log once credits have been issued with the credit note number generated by the system.
Examine all stock returned from customers by checking if it is in date and fully intact. Is packaging damaged and is it the correct pack amount.
Issue credit notes to customers.
Deal with customers on the phone with all returns queries politely and efficiently.
Record all Telesales input errors on a weekly basis.
Deal with product complaints from customers ensuring that all items are returned to the supplier for credit and investigation. Then record in complaints book.
Basic order processing at busy periods or covering telesales absence.
Assist in maintaining and safe and clean working environment
Maintain security of company stock and assets
Ensure Health and Safety issues are upheld at all times.
Work within other areas of the warehouse as directed by a supervisor/ manager.
