Job description

The Role

Presently, minutes are taken by one of the company secretaries working within the compliance and risk department. As it is a time consuming and often irregular task, my client have concluded that a permanent salaried member of staff is a more productive solution.

The role might develop in a number of ways. The most likely is that this will be the candidate's only responsibility, therefore hours will be irregular as the committee meetings are not usually held at the same time and according to a regular time table.

An alternate successful candidate might also be given other responsibilities reflecting their background so as to have more consistent working hours. Things are flexible at this stage.

Duties will consist of competently and consistently writing potentially complex minutes to a high standard.

The salary will be dependent on the successful candidate's experience.

The Candidate

  • The successful must be a knowledgeable minute taker with experience taking minutes in committee meetings within top tier financial services firm.
  • Likely experience will be CoSec or Compliance related.
  • The candidate must be open to working irregular hours. Not long hours, just irregular.
