Job description

Job Purpose:

To deliver consultative brand sales and detailing in independent retail pharmacy on behalf of designated clients exceeding targets and expectations.

To accurately and effectively provide qualitative and quantitative information to support service results and client relations.


1.Achieve all targets against; coverage, sales, distribution, merchandising and auditing.
2.Call on designated independent pharmacy accounts adopting a consultative sales role on behalf of syndicated clients.
3.Support product sell through though the provision of quality product and category training including advice on display and customer product conversations / recommendations.
4.Call at the appropriate level of frequency to maximise the commercial opportunity.
5.Review, re-plan and communicate any performance or data capture shortfall issues on a regular basis.
6.Effectively manage the transition of accounts in and out of the live call base to maintain #320 territory calls per 8 week (40 day) cycle achieving and #8 calls per working day.
7.Use territory coverage management skills to ensure territory coverage during holiday periods.
8.Provide 100% accurate and timely completion of all CRM data / records to ensure client reporting is of a high standard providing value to client reviews and relationships.
9.Develop and nurture strong pharmacy relationships at the appropriate level
10.Where an individual task / target is not going to be met, timely, effective rationale evidence must be provided to manage client expectations, protect credibility and minimise profit loss.
11.Feedback all commercial opportunities to the appropriate SIH person using the most appropriate, speedy and cost effective method
