Capital One - Part Time, Virtual Servicing Associate (Columbus, OH)

Virtual Servicing Associate (Work at Home)

General Requirements:
  • Candidates mustreside in the state of Ohio and live no more than 100 miles from Columbus, preferably 75 miles
  • Day 1 on boarding must be attended on site, in the Columbus Capital One designated office
  • Training is a minimum of 3 weeks (Part Time) and done virtually from the convenience of your home on a set schedule that will be defined before the start of the role
  • It is mandatory that you attend all the scheduled training to be properly prepared to help our customers
  • The ability to occasionally come to an office is mandatory during training or once in production, if business necessitates
  • The home office environment needs to be secure, free from background noise, distractions and any activities that could potentially interrupt focus on servicing our customers
  • Your Part time schedule will be based on your availability coupled with the needs of the business
    • Department Operating Hours are 7am-12a (7 days a week)
    • Ideally 12-20 hours or 20-30 hours a week scheduled

Technical Requirements:
  • A high speed broadband Internet service provider (ISP) is required in the home office space
  • Dial up or Satellite Internet service providers are not permitted
  • A hardwired, reliable Internet connection is required upon start to perform the duties of this job (Wifi prohibited) and must only be used for Capital One purposes during your schedule
  • The ISP speed/bandwidth must be 5 megabytes per second or higher (minimum required) - Please contact your ISP for confirmation
  • Please check your internet service provider speed/bandwidth here,
  • Capable of troubleshooting technical issues with minimal support
  • Smartphone with Data plan
Basic Qualifications:
  • At least a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
  • At least 2 years customer service experience OR at least 6 months work at home/virtual working experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree or military experience
  • 2+ years customer service experience in financial services or at least 2 years customer service experience in credit card services, or call center environment
