This is a new role in our New York office. You will be part of PA's internal creative agency based in London - The Design Studio.
You will be hands-on with a huge variety of exciting and fast moving projects, to support PA's wide range of creative work in the US and across the World.
The core responsibilities will depend on the annual marketing strategy and the wider business objectives. It can be anything from brand design, to interactive rich pictures, to presentations - all in the same week.
We are looking for a mid- senior level designer, but more importantly, someone who has a real passion to experiment and push boundaries. You will be the only US designer, but will sit with the marketing team in New York. You will also be in daily contact with the rest of the London team through our digital systems and regular meetings.
This is one of those creative opportunities that comes once in a lifetime. You will be the seed we plant in the US and we will help you grow over time.

This role will include but is not limited to the following:
  • Providing clients with professionally finished, creatively designed, high level reports, presentations and proposals
  • Creative a range of marketing material, from brochures, web design, artwork, illustration and web assets.
  • Translate complex ideas and data into a logical and visually engaging format quickly and efficiently
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external clients
  • Customer focused with ability to liaise and influence at all levels
  • Adhere closely to PA's brand and corporate style whilst acknowledging the local preferences. Design creative, compelling, and professional presentations and reports within strict corporate guidelines to tight deadlines, promoting best practice and consistency
  • Provide guidance and support on layout and design to the wider business as well as the junior designers in the studio
  • Good visualising and layout skills essential, both print and online.
  • Liaise with internal and external clients regarding production and completion of presentations. Managing expectations and meeting briefs on time and to budget
  • Proof check all work thoroughly to ensure highest standard of output, buddy check as required for other members of the team
  • Ensure team goals and objectives are met. Ensure a high standard of quality control for all design and all print is created within the team
  • Responsibility for tracking own jobs in database
  • Promote the local and global design offering through informal training and networking
  • Support broader Marketing function initiatives and team members

    Job Requirements

    • Strong design skills based on a degree, equivalent qualification or industry experience
  • A proven track record in creating high end PPT documents and templates and good presentation design, with a strong portfolio
  • Word skills a plus.
  • Extensive and advanced experience in working with MS Office
  • Extensive and advanced working knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign, and other appropriate presentation software
  • 4+ years professional experience
  • Animation / 3D software and skills a plus
  • Excellent personal organisation and time management skills to prioritise often conflicting and demanding workloads
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately
  • Proficient in understanding client expectations and requirements
  • Establishes rapport with and trust of staff, managers and internal and external clients
  • Supports and builds collaborative working relationships with individuals within the business
  • A good team player, willing to ask for, and provide help to other members of
the design team, can-do attitude
  • In-depth understanding of current design trends and processes
  • Excellent analytical skills (for briefs)
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Ideal candidate will also have experience in the following: After Effects, Animate, 3D Experience
