I'm pleased to be partnering with a client in Leeds who are passionate about the development of their people. This business prides themselves on values, with a management team who strive towards making improvements to HR, very open to developing where possible, and particularly keen to improve engagement and retention.

HR Manager - Leeds - £36k plus bonus potential

The role is stand alone, providing a solid and efficient HR service to approx 100 staff. This business have grown from strength to strength securing new contracts with big clients, means they are only going in one direction!

They seek a strong stand along HR Manager or HR Advisor who can contribute towards the HR strategy planning, but who also enjoys the day to day and hands on elements of a busy HR function.

The role:
Training and development - this is key for the business and they have plans to implement new training for the staff. The successful candidate needs to be strong in delivering and designing training where appropriate
Agency management -Manage this relationship, efficiencies, budgets/costs etc.
Staff T.O/Retention and absences - Really monitor this and support management in following through with action planning, where can they improve, are there any trends?
ER, & recruitment - They are gaining new contracts and have growth plans.
Want someone who can look at the HR planning/Strategy - all in line with making improvements to the culture/engagement and retention
Manage senior relationships - in particular within the production division
Develop and improve policies and processes
Ad hoc administration and upkeep of day to day HR function

This role would suit a strong generalist who is passionate about people, and always looking for ways to develop and improve HR! You will be keen to get stuck in, flexible in your approach, and build strong relationships within the business. A stand alone background from a blue collar environment is essential, as is a CIPD qualification or working towards.
