The Endoscopy Unit requires an additional Nurse Educator to work alongside our current Nurse Educator in supporting the training needs of the whole nursing team. You will need to be an experienced endoscopy nurse who is still skilled clinically as well as having excellent teaching ability.

This is a permanent but part time role for 17.5 hours per week

The role will support staff both the trained and untrained nursing staff working through their endoscopy competencies, the organisation of departmental based training, to ensure that the staffs statutory and mandatory training is up to date and providing staff with training opportunities externally.

The successful candidate will need to be able to support staff at all levels of ability and as well as working autonomously be able to work well in the team. Good communication and organisation is essential to the role as well as an ability to maintain training records accurately.
