To be an influential leader of a fast-paced and successful contact centre. This opportunity presents the chance to really put your stamp on the operation and put into practice your knowledge of strategy, process and procedures all whilst maintain a people-centric culture.
A great opportunity to put your own stamp on this organisation, covering multiple operations and locations you will be tasked with building a customer-centric culture, whilst ensuring; statutory legal and regulatory compliance. You will also be Supporting the Client Account Director, as the Control Centre Manager you will champion the continued development of operations to deliver high levels of client satisfaction through excellent delivery of the customer experience.
Further to the above you will assist the Head of Business Performance and the System Development Manager using their experience to recommend the introduction of innovation and best practice to streamline processes.
•Ensure cost efficient delivery of a safe, punctual and reliable service across all operations
•Be accountable for delivering operational costs within budgeting guidelines and process
•Responsibility for developing an engaged and talented control team
•Maximise the effectiveness of colleague and customer engagement using all available channels, teams, marketing and technology
•Ensure that controls are followed to manage and mitigate risk, providing assurance of compliance to the Company Directors
•Other duties commensurate with the role as may be deemed appropriate by the line manager
Our Ideal candidate:
At this stage in your career you will be well versed with a control centre environment and have proven background that is conducive to productivity. You will ideally have;
•A strong track record as a credible, experienced Control Centre Manager within the service sector
•A team player, wholly committed to working with and supporting their peer group and other colleagues to achieve Business Strategy
•A strong analytical insight and a "can-do" attitude to solving issues
•The ability to work in a complex operating environment and able to influence the wider business ensuring there is a strong "buy-in" to the operation objectives and vision
•A confident communicator, able to effectively engage with and influence suppliers, clients and colleagues at all levels of the business
•A Results-driven and strategically focused mindset, but with a strong ability to get into the detail when necessary
•A good working knowledge of UK geography
•Demonstrable competency in people management, motivating teams, people development/coaching
•A familiarity with railway and road transport regulations (desirable)
Office hours are Mon-Fri 09:00 - 17:00 but flexibility is required as the operation is 24/7.
Dependent upon success, there is the possibility for the assignment to be extended or to be made permanent.
