Job Role: Assistant Front OfficeManager Due to thecurrent VISA RESTRICTIONS only candidates from within the UAE witha current UAE Residence Visa can be considered for thisvacancy  AnAssistant Front Office Manager supervises Reception operations andsets departmental goals and targets so to ensure a continuouslyimproving customer service experience to Guests.As Assistant Front Office Manager, you will superviseReception operations and set departmental goals and targets toensure a continuously improving customer service experience toGuests. The Assistant Front Office Manager interacts with Guestsand contributes to the first impressions of our Guests and,therefore, must perform the following tasks to the higheststandards: Supervise accurate andefficient Reception operations including check in/outprocedures Support Team Members in handlingGuest requests and enquires to ensure a positive outcomeEnsure the Front Office Manager is fully aware of anyrelevant feedback from Guests and/or other departmentsEnsure a consistent, high level of customerservice Brief your team on any events or VIPguests in the hotel that day Drive salesrevenues and promote hotel services and facilities for up-sellingopportunities Understand and apply correctprocedures regarding the acceptance of foreign currencies, creditcards and cash in accordance with the hotel creditpolicy Assist with the implementation andachievement of departmental targets and objectives, work schedules,budgets and policies and procedures Monitorthe appearance, standards and performance of the Front Office Teamwith an emphasis on training and teamworkEnsure Team Members have current knowledge of all roomcategories, room rates, packages, promotions, local area and othergeneral product knowledge necessary to perform theirduties Demonstrate positive leadershipcharacteristics to inspire Team Members to meet and exceedstandards Act in accordance with the front ofhouse equipment and the property management systemsConduct training programs on an ongoing basisCarry out shift handovers and brief team members asrequired Follow company brandstandards Assist other departments, asnecessary, and maintain good working relationships with hotel TeamMembers To successfully fill thisrole, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, andvalues that follow: Experiencesupervising people and leading teams Previousexperience in a customer-focused industryPositive attitude and good communicationskills Committed to delivering a high level ofcustomer service Excellent groomingstandards Ability to work on your own or aspart of a team Competent level of ITproficiency Previous experience in a hotelenvironment
