The Clinical Director oversees the overall operation of Behavior Respite in Action and Respite Works. They oversee all activities of the department, including quality of care, policy adherence, employee performance and engagement, market expansion, and financial success.. Responsibilities:. Oversee all branch's functions for each department and all clinical and administrative staff. Ensure that 90% of clinical services are provided on monthly basis. Supervision of supervisors and managers in each location offering BRIA/RW services. Ensure that all data collection is maintained, stored, and collected in an ethical manner. Ensure that the company's "Zero Tolerance Policy" is understood, implemented and reinforced in the region. Ensure that Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) compliance is understood, implemented and reinforced in the region. Ensure that all progress reports are complete and submitted on time. Overlap and provide additional training to supervisors and managers. Ensure each office location has up to date quality assurance practices. Ensure each office location has up to date training practices. Maintain constant, professional communication. Provide for monthly, quarterly, and/or yearly trainings for direct staff and supervisors on pertinent topics related to the service delivery. Supervise coordination between staff and/or families if needed. Ensure hiring and recruitment practices are utilized effectively. Manage conflicts between direct staff and other direct staff, direct staff and senior team members, and/or direct staff and consumers. Development of supervision and training materials, such as new hire trainings, staff evaluations, etc.. Contribute to ongoing marketing development. Conduct regular presentations for client and staff recruitment. Maintain an excellent level of communication with funding providers and attend meetings as necessary. Maintain all professional certifications. Maintain telephone contact and a reliable method to record scheduled appointments and return all phone calls within 24 hours. Monitor the fulfillment of services. Maintain reliable transportation and current liability insurance for that vehicle. Provide ongoing staff specific support (trainings, staff quarterly functions, on call status, meetings with staff for case specific items). Complete other duties as assigned by Directors. Requirements:. Possession of a bachelor's degree in a related human services discipline. Master's Degree is required, BCBA preferred. Supervision skills. 5 years of management or supervision experience including:. Staff supervision. Collaboration with direct staff and senior management. Formal staff training. Staff recruitment, hiring, and on-going supervision. Collaboration with administrative departments including human resources, accounting, payroll, office staff, IT, marketing, etc.. 5 years in clinical experience including:. Direct service with individuals with varying diagnoses, diverse levels of functioning, and a broad range of ages. Active participation in interdisciplinary teams designed for client and family well being (IEPs, IPPs, etc.). Program design (data collection, curriculum, progress reports, etc.). Expertise in intervention strategies. Fluency with all Microsoft Office programs. Superior organizational skills. Excellent interpersonal skills. Public presentation appearance.
