We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Controls Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a fast-paced environment in the finance industry where you will work on innovative projects that are revolutionizing the way we do business. As a Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing complex control systems that meet our strategic objectives and operational needs. You will be working closely with various teams to ensure the seamless operation of our electrical and robotic systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement control systems to improve production efficiency and product quality.
  • Utilize your expertise in Electrical Controls, Ladder Logic, ABB, HMI, Fanuc, Robots, and Robotics to optimize our automated processes.
  • Develop and maintain electrical design and power distribution systems.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate controls and automation into existing systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair issues with control systems and ensure they comply with safety standards.
  • Provide technical support and training to other team members.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for complex and critical issues.
  • Stay current with latest technology, trends, and best practices in controls engineering and introduce them to the business processes.
  • Participate in project planning and provide time and cost estimates for control system designs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a controls engineering role.
  • Proven experience with Electrical Controls, Ladder Logic, ABB, HMI, Fanuc, Robots, Robotics, electrical design, controls, and power distribution.
  • Strong knowledge of control system theory and practical applications.
  • Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CAD software.
  • Must have a continuous improvement mindset and keep up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) certification is a plus.
