Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning and execution of complex engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for multimodal transportation systems, including road, rail, air, and water transport.
  • Collaborate with urban planners, architects, and other stakeholders to design and implement sustainable urban development plans.
  • Oversee the preparation of architectural designs, blueprints, and models, ensuring they meet client requirements and adhere to relevant regulations and standards.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and impact analyses for proposed projects.
  • Coordinate with project teams, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Stay abreast of latest trends and advancements in the engineering industry, and incorporate these into planning and design processes.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Architecture, or a related field. A Master's degree will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a planning role in the engineering industry, with a focus on multimodal transportation planning, urban planning, and architecture design.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing complex engineering projects.
  • Strong knowledge of industry regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to a variety of stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in relevant software, such as CAD, GIS, and project management tools.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Professional certifications in project management, urban planning, or a related field will be an advantage.
