This Contract-to-Hire role as a Hybrid Business Analyst in Richardson, TX will be responsible for the documentation, analysis, and elicitation of business and technical needs across multiple business units. Exceptional communication skills and a proven ability to communicate technical and business requirements alike are keys to success. We are looking for a proficient problem-solver who is adept at creating action plans based on business needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate current operational procedures, identify inefficiencies, and propose strategies to achieve operational excellence
  • Builds relationships and collaborates with business units, development teams, and other stakeholders to gather, analyze and prioritize requests
  • Ensures that complex requirements are executable, testable, complete and not ambiguous
  • Documents and elicits requirements through user stories, use cases, process flow diagrams, etc.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business Administration or equivalent work experience
  • At least 5 years in a business analyst role
  • Ability to analyze data within systems and understand workflow
  • Familiar with data analysis tools and software
  • Strong documentation skills
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams including IT
  • Functional understanding of technology
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • The ability to collaborate effectively with multiple teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Technical skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Viso and Jira (or similar tool)
  • Experience on a variety of simple to complex projects
  • Proven ability to elicit and document requirements in a clear and concise manner
  • Must be able to communicate to all levels in an organization, strong problem-solving skills, adaptable, flexible, proactive and willing to take ownership
  • Flexible in adjusting to demands and challenges, with ability to work at a fast pace, in a high-volume environment and meet tight deadlines
  • Experience and commitment to identify and drive improvements to existing processes
  • Experience with Agile methodology
