Title: Travel Registered NurseLocation: Rapid City SDDuration: 8-12 weeks ContractShift: Day / NightSchedule: 3x12, 36 hrs/wk 4x12, 48 hrs/wkGuarantee Hours: 36/48 HoursRequired Certifications:BLS, ACLS, NIHSSRequired Education:Completion of a nursing education program that is approved by a board of nursing; Registered Nurse (RN) - South Dakota Board of NursingSkills required:PCU level RNICU RN qualified to float to EDPCU RN qualified to float to ICUExperience with Cardiac procedural recovery (CABG/TAVR/post cardiac cath), MI pharmacology, titratable Cardiac/vasoactive gtts (Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitro, Levo, Dopamine)Heparingtts, cardiac rhythm interpretation, chest tubes management, TNK administration (preferred)Responsibilities:Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical exams, medical history review, and vital sign monitoring.Care Planning: Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team to address patient needs and achieve optimal outcomes.Medication Administration: Administer medications, maintain accurate records, and ensure safe and effective medication management.Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about their health conditions, treatment options, and self-care techniques.Monitoring: Continuously monitor and evaluate patient conditions, alerting healthcare providers to any changes or concerns.Record Keeping: Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, documenting all care and interventions.Collaborative Care: Work collaboratively with physicians, other healthcare professionals, and support staff to provide comprehensive care.Infection Control: Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe healthcare environment.Comfort and Support: Provide emotional support to patients and families, ensuring a comfortable and caring experience.Emergency Response: Be prepared to respond to medical emergencies and administer life-saving interventions as necessary.
