Department Health and Human Performance Job Purpose The University of Scranton's Department of Health and Human Performance has an ongoing need for highly qualified adjunct faculty to staff a variety of courses each semester in the fields of Kinesiology, Health Promotion, Nutrition, and Coaching. Adjunct faculty may instruct one or more courses each semester on an "as needed" basis. A particular need is common in Nutrition, Strength and Conditioning, Health Promotion, and courses within the Coaching minor. Essential Duties Adjunct faculty are expected to teach a specified course(s); prepare course materials; provide support and guidance to students; and report grades. Additional Skills Required Certifications in a field relevant to the course, if applicable. Minimum Education Requirements Master's Degree in Kinesiology, Health Promotion or related majors. Preferred Education Preference will be given to candidates who have an ABD or PhD in the aforementioned degrees for Kinesiology and Health Promotion.
