Job description

UPMC Harrisburg in collaboration with the University of Pittsburgh, Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology and Magee-Womens, is seeking a BE/BC Maternal Fetal Medicine physicians to join our Harrisburg Team. Excellent opportunity for rapid practice growth and development, which offers both clinical practice and teaching component, and potential for academic appointment at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine.

We are a multi-hospital service with a main hub in Harrisburg, PA covering about 7,000 deliveries per year through an active perinatal referral service. The main facility has a new modern labor and delivery unit with a dedicated antenatal unit, and a new 40 bed NICU staffed with 24/7 Neonatology. We have a unique interdisciplinary collaboration with Magee Womens sharing resources and expertise.

Position Details:

Six current MFM physicians looking to grow, based in greater Harrisburg

Fully accredited MFM fellowship program providing both teaching opportunities and call coverage support

Full specialty support including general OBGYN, reproductive medicine, uro-gynecology, gynecologic oncology and robust womens programs.

OB/GYN hospitalist program

Additional support and resources through UPMC Magee-Womens Hospital in Pittsburgh

Services focused at the main tertiary care facility with opportunities for telemedicine and in-person satellite coverage.

Professional Skills:

Board-certified or board-eligible in Maternal Fetal Medicine

Experience in invasive MFM procedures required

Ultrasound experience is highly recommended

Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate patient care

Ability to work as part of a team approach while providing personalized care and favorable clinical outcomes
