Job Details:
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Permanent Civil Engineer to join our fast-paced Engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Civil Engineer who is passionate about designing and executing civil engineering projects, and who is proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role and will be excited by the opportunity to contribute to a variety of projects, including infrastructure design, site development, and transportation engineering.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges, and utilities using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
  • Conduct site inspections and analyze data (maps, reports, tests, drawings, etc.) to plan and design projects.
  • Manage and lead the design process, ensuring that plans meet the client's specifications and all relevant regulations.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports and project updates to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams, including architects, contractors, and project managers.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and impact studies.
  • Ensure project compliance with all relevant local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Continually update technical knowledge and skills by attending workshops, reviewing professional publications, and participating in professional societies.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on infrastructure design and development.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
  • Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and practices.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of accuracy in calculations and design.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to present technical information clearly and effectively to both expert and non-expert audiences.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
