Job description
Envision Physician Services is hiring Emergency Medicine Physicians for HCA Florida Champions Gate FSED, located in Davenport, FL, which serves as an extension of HCA Florida Poinciana Medical Center. Candidates must be BC/BP EM via the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM) or American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine (AOBEM).
- 9k ER Visits per year
- Fully integrated with Poinciana Medical Center
- 12 emergency room bays, including a fully equipped Trauma bay
- Separate pediatric waiting area, triage, and a dedicated bay
- State of the art imaging, including CT, Ultrasound, and Radiology
- Covered ambulance entrance for patient drop-off/pick-up and EMS lounge
- Patients needing to be admitted to an inpatient bed will be transported to the main campus with seamless care handoff to our excellent intensivists, hospitalists, and specialists
- Independent Contractor Status
The HCA Florida Champions Gate FSED offers easy, convenient access to emergency care 24-hours a day with all the resources you need for acute care of a serious illness or injury. The ER is physically distinct from an inpatient, traditional hospital and with the exception of trauma, will offer the same services as traditional ERs, accept ambulance service and have on-site CT Scan, Ultrasound, X-ray and laboratory services. The HCA Florida Champions Gate ER is staffed by physicians Board Certified in Emergency Medicine and nurses with emergency medicine experience and certifications. Some of the benefits are convenient access and shorter wait times, same services and level of care consistent with a traditional hospital emergency department, separate pediatric reception area, telemedicine capabilities, board certified emergency medicine physicians and nurses experienced in emergency care.
