Job description

All Resumes Responded to in 24 Hrs or Less The qualified candidate will be responsible for evaluating operational software problems and providing immediate solutions to restore service as well as integration and verification of new baselines. Key Responsibilities: The selected candidate's key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: • Support program as a technical software resource • Supports the maintenance and documentation of software applications • Determines the operational feasibility of software modifications • Develops software tools to complement maintenance activities • This position is located in a customer facility and some CONUS/OCONUS travel may be possible Required Skills: • Ability to work in a structured configuration controlled environment, primarily focused on the support and maintenance of real-time software applications on an Operations and Maintenance (O&M) contract • Experience with software development and integration • Strong analytical skills and ability to recommend solutions to software engineering problems and issues • Ability to perform analysis, troubleshooting and assessment of software system errors in a complex operational system • Provide support to installs and system upgrades by participating in integration working groups, factory checkouts, site checkouts, installation planning meetings and rehearsals • Provide support for development, test and install Category 3 software • Experience Expertise with software configuration management systems and processes • Experience with isolation of discrepancies to software, database, scripts or configurations • Experience with various operational systems • Requires ability to work under pressure on high-priority systems and multi-task in a dynamic environment with changing priorities • Ability to work as part of a team with minimal supervision • Strong verbal and written communication • Self-motivated, excellent time management and organizational skills
