Job description

Summary:

This position is responsible for, but not limited to, performing preventative maintenance on production equipment to ensure total customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

Ø Access and program and/or modify PLC logic to make repairs.

Ø Perform evaluations and/or analyze unique problems that are new to equipment.

Ø Perform predictive maintenance by analyzing routine failures and determining adjustments and repairs that need to be made.

Ø Perform training as needed to Lower-level Maintenance Techs on troubleshooting and repair techniques utilized with equipment.

Ø Perform specified preventative maintenance on production equipment to prevent equipment downtime.

Ø Monitor equipment operations to ensure proper usage.

Ø Construct and/or assemble new equipment.

Ø Perform various building maintenance activities-inside and outside the plant.

Ø Troubleshoot equipment failures and repair as needed.

Ø Perform specified preventative maintenance on production equipment to prevent equipment down-time.

Ø Perform Lock Out / Tag Out requirements.

Ø Work from blueprints, manuals, sketches, and verbal instructions.

Ø Help repairing hydraulic, pneumatic, and electromechanical systems.

Ø Help to install, repair, rebuild production and building equipment.

Ø Help in connecting pipes to plumbing fixtures.

Ø Build crates, cabinets, stands, tables, partitions, and racks.

Ø Assist and instruct less experienced personnel with skilled trade functions as needed.

Ø Advise or recommend new or changed methods and equipment to reduce costs and improve efficiencies.

Ø Perform other duties as assigned or necessary to meet business conditions or changes.

Ø Adheres to quality and safety systems or maintenance of quality and safety standards.
