Job description

Our client, major LNG Operator in Qatar, is hiring for Jackets Fabrication Specialist to work for major offshore project (Offshore Brownfield & Greenfield scope). This is a contract and residential role to be based in Qatar with initial contract duration of 2 years (renewable). Job Purpose:Advise in the fabrication and providing input NFS Jackets. Prepares the day to day plans and formulates the best and most efficient fabrication of the assets ensure the objectives for the construction of NFS Jackets is safely met as per applicable HSES and quality standards, and within the approved budget and schedule. Advise in the implementation of the EPCI scope(s) of work, key milestones and reviewing/providing input to the validation of the fabrication subcontractors, AVL and assist in the supervision of all construction requirements for the NFS Jackets Project. Key Job Accountabilities:Assist in setting-up the fabrication team organization for the EPCI phase in liaison with NFS Head of Construction.Help in identifying and organising all required construction support (Third Party support, Joint-Venture partner technical support, etc.) in liaison with the Offshore Head of Construction NFS Jackets.Review construction risks and assist in providing mitigation measures. Report Risks to the NFS Offshore Head of Construction review the EPCI schedule level 3 prepared by the Contractor.Assist in the management of the EPCI scope of work, key milestones.Coordinate the Company fabrication follow-up execution plan and organisation.Examine Contractor documentation related to construction and participate in Constructability review, Hazid workshop, etc.during fabrication.Assist in the production of the delivery of Gate 'fabrication' deliverables.Assist in the management and supervision of EPCI fabrication facilities and manpower, fabrication sequences and planning. Participate in clarifications meetings, and participate in the daily, weekly and monthly construction meetings.Minimum RequirementsQualifications:Significant fabrication/welding experience, 5-year apprenticeship, Engineering degree, diploma or similar. Knowledge and/or ExperienceMinimum 10yrs experience in fabrication and construction within the offshore oil and gas industry.Experience with Offshore structure including jackets and similar fabrication work at supervisory level in the Middle East, Southeast Asia and exhaustive experience for the preparation, fabrication and construction of offshore structures with EPCI contractors.Application and in-depth knowledge of stakeholder specifications and a working knowledge of Industry standardsTechnical and Business SkillsAble to supervise a multi-cultural team committed to meeting project objectives. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on teamwork and the ability to communicate and interact within a PMTA high level of proficiency in written and spoken EnglishComputer literacy involving the regular use of professional office applications and some technical applications
