Workday Payroll Consultant
Location: Oshkosh, WI (remote)
Duration: 3-6+ Month Contract Position
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensure accurate and timely processing of U.S. payroll.
Review, audit and balance all payroll-related inputs to ensure accurate and timely payment of earnings, deductions and taxes, compliant with federal & state regulations.
Analyze problems and discern discrepancies related to payroll and timekeeping; correct as appropriate.
Validate payroll reconciliation prior to processing.
Analyze and maintain all lien orders to ensure that accurate deductions are made and payments processed.
Execute standard Workday reports/queries as well as conduct ad-hoc reporting as necessary. Create complex monthly reports using Workday and Excel to provide payroll data to auditors, vendors, and other support functions.
Develop and maintain a strong and mutually benefiting partnership with Human Resources.
3+ years payroll experience in mid-to-large, multi-state and/or international company required
1-2+ years of Workday Payroll experience is required
Strong analytical and interpretive skills, ability to deliver financial data in a user friendly and relevant manner
Complete understanding of payroll process, tax laws and federal and state regulations
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Self-starter with ability to multi-task and work independently
