Job description

A recognized nonprofit healthcare organization is actively seeking an experienced professional to join their New York City-based office as their new Vice President for Health Services. In partnership with the Chief Medical Officer, Associate Vice President of Clinical Services and Chief Clinical Officer, the Vice President for Health Services will be responsible for providing operational leadership and oversight of Clinical Services programs as well as ensuring that health center operations optimize the patient experience and access through the provision of high quality, team-centered patient care. Apply today!, The Vice President for Health Services will: * Assume responsibility for oversight of the high quality, patient-centered care in 5 health centers * Provide leadership in the management of all day to day operations in the delivery of team-centered patient care * Ensure optimization of resources to expand patient access and the highest level of patient experience * Oversee all components of patient access, including: appointment templates; staff scheduling; partnership with outsourced call center; online appointment scheduling; and, center-based scheduled & walk-in access * Analyze operational data and lead the health center teams in making optimal use of data reported through the Innovation and Analytics Center * Play a key leadership role in the expansion of existing centers, new health center locations, and mobile medical units * Oversee the development and implementation of the annual Operating Plan for the health centers * Provide leadership oversight in developing and managing the health center operating and capital budgets * Assume responsibility for oversight of the financial performance of the health centers * Oversee the monitoring of health center visits and payor mix in relation to patient access, staff productivity, visit and revenue targets * Oversee the recruitment, orientation, evaluation, continuing education programs for Medical, Nursing and Support staff * Cultivate, establish and maintain strong community partnerships to support access to healthcare * As part of the Senior Leadership Team, assume responsibility for creating a learning environment for staff to optimize employee engagement and satisfaction and foster professional growth * Participate as a member of the Senior Leadership Team, collaborating with the CEO, other members of the Senior Leadership Team, Board of Directors and Executive Staff * Collaborate with Director of Clinical Administration, Development and Grants Departments in development of public and foundation grant proposals, budgets, progress reports and reapplications for health centers * 7+ years of clinical operations experience, including at least 5 years of experience in a Senior-level Supervisory role * Master's Degree in a related field * Exceptional supervisory and management skills * Ability to utilize data effectively to drive improvement * Outstanding leadership and team building skills; ability to motivate and inspire * Deep knowledge of the delivery of Patient-centered Care * Solid problem solving and time management skills * Excellent collaborative and interpersonal skills * Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) * Strong attention to detail * Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with a wide scope of responsibility Desired Skills * Licensure in a Clinical area * Previous experience working for a Nonprofit Organization
