Have you worked as a Telecoms Engineer previously?
Have you worked as an Engineer visiting customers to fix telecoms or IT issues but wish to now work mainly in house?
If the answer to any of these questions is yes, then this is the role for you.
You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, as a first contact resolution handler, you will be part of the Service Desk providing support, improving the system and making changes for Telephony, Data and cloud customers.
You will be answering questions and listening to issues from customers and trying to make fixes over the phone. Very occasional you may be asked to travel around Sussex to help repair systems on-site.
Full training will be given but you must have a technical mind.
Configurational support to customers for Telephony, Data and IT Services
Understand and confidently investigate set up and installations in relation to DSL Broadband installs, telephony and IT products.
Diagnose, log, action and follow through to resolution of all configurational requests, including escalated requests that are service effecting whilst keeping the customer informed of progress.Desirable skills;
Mac OS X, Linux, Ericson, LG & Android
VLANs, Hyper V, VM Ware
Cloud knowledge: Horizon, Office 365 and other
Windows Server Backup, Veeam, Attix or StorageCraft
