Medstrom Healthcare is a UK manufacturer of specialist hospital beds and the only independent provider of bed management services to the NHS, managing over 20% of the UK's acute bed and mattress fleet. We supply specialist products and services to over 150 hospitals in the UK and Ireland.
We have established a strong reputation for the supply of a range of innovative products in the specialist beds and surfaces sector, both manufactured by Medstrom and also sourced via exclusive partnerships with manufacturers across Europe and the US.
We are now looking for a Technical Trainer to join our team and ensure our staff are trained to the highest standards.

This is a fantastic opportunity to use your expertise to ensure our employees have all the training and knowledge they need to provide leading products that are supporting patients' recovery.
You will play a key role in our training functions, building your experience as you travel throughout the country, imparting your wisdom and ensuring our knowledge of leading technologies and products is current.

As a Technical Trainer, you will record and deliver training to new and existing employees.
You will create training course materials to ensure efficient technical and non-technical training is provided that motivates and develops our teams.
Specifically, you will:
- Travel to regional locations and our local facility to deliver technical training
- Deliver non-technical (use of product) and process training
- Evaluate candidates on skills, knowledge and behaviours demonstrated
- Manage and maintain technical training records through our LMS systems
- Oversee our mandatory courses
- Provide expert advice, guidance and support to trainees
To join us as a Technical Trainer, you will need:
- Experience of delivering internal training and development
- Knowledge and an understanding of LMS systems
- Excellent presentation skills using MS PowerPoint, Excel and data analysis
- A full, valid driving licence
An AET teaching qualification would be beneficial to your application, but this is not essential as we will support you to gain this.
This role will involve national travel throughout the UK and Ireland. Overnight stays will occasionally be required.
