Kforce has a client in search of a Technical Production Artist in Redmond, WA. This role is currently 100% remote and may switch back to office environment when COVID-19 ramps down. Summary: Are you a creative problem solver? Do you have the technical coding skills and content creation chops needed to prototype new, innovative workflows that empowers artists to create the next generation of AAA content? As a Production Artist, you will have the chance to apply your creativity, communication skills, art background and technical expertise to build the workflows that will support our content creators and maximize their artistic capability.   • Help test drive some of our new tools\systems coming online
  • Help provide insight into how it could be improved and give detailed rundowns of what features those workflows are missing in order to accomplish the end goals set for those efforts.
  • Blueprint scripting, shader graphs, animations or rigging
  • Exposure to industry tools on a more complex note
  • Experience working with development teams to enhance tools
  • Work with art teams and tools engineers to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in content production

Job Requirements:


  • BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Graphic Arts, Art, Game Design or a related field
  • Proven ability to take art direction and enhance visuals
  • Proven ability to creatively leverage existing software and techniques to accomplish visual goals
  • Experience with rapidly prototyping systems that enhance artist productivity
  • Strong knowledge of Unity
  • Blueprint scripting experience
  • Experience with next-generation content creation techniques
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Work well under deadlines and multi-tasks
Nice to Have:
  • 3+ years' experience working as a Technical Artist
  • Complex shader authoring experience
  • Experience developing animation or rigging
  • Experience developing environment customization systems
