Job description

Technical Support Manager

BPS Bioscience Inc. is a leading producer of recombinant proteins, assay kits, and recombinant cell lines for drug discovery and development. Currently we are looking for a technical support scientist to share the responsibility of growing company revenues and positioning the Company to take advantage of its unique market position.

The responsibility includes, but not limited to,

  • To provide technical support to BPS Bioscience's sales managers, customers and international distributors
  • Answer technical support inquiries in a professional, courteous and efficient manner
  • Resolve quality concerns regarding BPS products. Provide detailed records to appropriate departments to facilitate the resolution of customer complaints
  • Visit and introduce BPS products and services to customers
  • Write technical notes to support the marketing group
  • Prepare and present posters in scientific meetings
  • Facilitate the training of international distributors and respond to technical calls that require advanced training and/or experience

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong organizational skills; ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously; superb time management
  • Ability to learn and communicate technical and scientific product-related information
  • Ability to troubleshoot laboratory application problems
  • Ability to present technical product seminars on complex products to a wide range of audiences successfully

Qualifications

  • Ph.D. in cancer biology, immunology, biochemistry, cell biology, or molecular biology
  • Industrial experience is a plus
