General Purpose As Senior Director Digital Innovation within the adidas Digital team you are responsible for leading the brand into the next frontier of technologies and experiences that will be critical to engaging our consumers and securing the digital leadership of our brand. This role is building and leading a diverse team, establishing a leading innovation practice, and, fostering collaborative internal and external partnerships. The synthesis of these elements will enable the team to identify, imagine, create, validate, and transition disruptive digital experiences that will solve significant challenges for our consumers and adidas, and deepen our relationship with our customers. Ultimately, these innovations will deliver significant financial and NPS results. Your goal is to lead a team that creates outstanding experiences to push the boundaries of technical advancement while meeting the needs of our consumers. Key Responsibilities Scope: Accountable for the digital innovation end-to-end process. From insights gathering to opportunity identification, exploration, validation, and transition into the enterprise. Research and Exploration Drive overall exploration, understanding and assessment of startups, agencies, and major players in the emerging technology and experience space. Innovation Strategy & Roadmap Lead and develop the Digital Innovation vision and strategy. Key Relationships: Digital Senior Management (SMT) Global Digital and Brand organizations Newsrooms Requirements Education & Professional Experience Ideally Master degree in Business, IT or related field. Soft-Skills Passion for innovation and proven ability to deliver this through a global organization Ability to drive small & large teams to solutions on production and project issues, including teams of internal business customers and external vendors. Excellent problem solving skills - able to identify, analyze and propose solutions to various consumer, technical and business issues Hard-Skills Deep understanding of end-to-end digital experiences, processes and platforms < Extensive knowledge of underlying processes and applications e.g. eCommerce, ERP, Omnichannel< Fluent in English both verbally and written
