Job description

The Sr. Cloud Engineer is responsible for migrating local infrastructure to and managing Company's cloud network and server infrastructure services primarily in the AWS and Azure clouds. You will have a clear understanding of cloud services, distributed systems and CI/CD practices. The Sr. Cloud Engineer also provides remote and onsite technical expertise to implement, monitor, and manage local networks and infrastructure. What did one raindrop say to the other? Your role:


  • Expertise in migrating corporate network and server infrastructure to AWS and/or Azure Cloud Platforms
  • Ability to quickly assess and document existing corporate infrastructure and services
  • Skilled in planning, documenting and the creation of processes to migrate physical network and server infrastructures to cloud services
  • Manage and implement project plan to migrate companies' infrastructure to AWS/Azure cloud
  • Migration and integration of new business partners
  • Cloud formation identification. What's your favorite? Cumulus is always a crowd pleaser. Oh, different type of cloud, huh?
  • Creation of standardization plan for IT Infrastructure within AWS/Azure
  • Standardize cloud and local services for network and servers
  • Migration of users, email, servers, phones, and other services to the corporate resources
  • What kind of shorts to clouds wear? Thunderwear
  • Travel - 2 weeks a year

What you've got:


  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of Cloud Engineering experience
  • Successful history of migrating corporate infrastructure to AWS or Azure cloud
  • I'd tell you another joke about a cloud but it would be over your head
  • Minimum of 3 years of Server and Network Infrastructure experience
  • Detailed Project Management skills
  • Expertise in documentation of implementation and migration results, as well as knowledge transfer to IT Support to enable the team to support new environments and users
  • Familiarity with network and server equipment from Meraki and Cisco is essential for this role
