Vision for Education are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic, dedicated and resilient Teaching Assistant to work at a Special School in North Bradford from January 2020 on an ongoing basis.
As a Teaching Assistant at this school, you will be responsible for working with pupils with Autism and Challenging Behaviour and the age ranges are from 3-19 years old as this is a through school. On a typical day, you will be at any given time, doing sensory activities with pupils, playing outdoors on the bikes and equipment, attending to personal care needs and managing pupils behaviour.
The school is a special school that specifically caters for pupils with Autism aged from 3-19 years old.
To be considered for the position, you will:
Have valid work experience with Children or Adults with Autism
Have already completed, or be willing to complete a 12 hour Team Teach course
Have a DBS on the update service, or be willing to undergo a DBS check
Have relevant experience that we would be able to reference within the last 5 years

Pay £61.50 per day
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position is 6 months minimum experience working with Autism and Challenging Behaviour in or out of a school environment.
