Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Document software release notes and related release documentation for the customer.
  • Create and maintain application documentation including user manuals, integration guides, SOAP and REST APIs, and other support documents based on customer needs.
  • Support and maintain documentation.
  • Writing context-based help documentation.
  • Performing varying documentation tasks for different teams.
  • Continuously improving the documentation and documentation system.
  • Should be comfortable collecting creating and documenting information used by business technical and executive users for applications as well as supporting business processes.

Required Skills:

  • Solid knowledge of computer fundamentals including Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Office suite, as well as other writing and publishing tools
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Previous experience working in a Software and agile programming environment
  • Has prior technical writing documentation experience
  • Strong understanding of Knowledge Management
  • Has a solid understanding of the software development life cycles from enhancement to support
  • Experience with enterprise software development web services and related technologies
  • Strong experience using Microsoft documentation tools like Word, Excel, Power Point, Etc.,
  • Experience working directly with development infrastructure and support teams
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong organization skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • A proactive and open-minded attitude to resolving problems and delivering results
  • Passion to thrive in a fast-paced ever-changing environment
  • Editorial skills to ensure use of correct

  • Understanding of technical content authoring workflows
  • Knowledge of industry standards such as DITA, XML, and HTML

Desired Skills But Not Required:

  • Knowledge of job related content authoring, publishing, and graphic design tools is a plus
  • Degree in English, technical writing, or journalism
