The Role
You will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of service sales strategy, this will incorporate securing orders for aftermarket solutions including service, maintenance, upgrades and retrofits on low to medium voltage installed or competitor equipment across the industrial market in the UK. Industries include Metals, Chemical, Mining, Oil & Gas, Food & Beverage, Paper & Pulp, Glass and Cement.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensuring a successful implementation of the service sales strategy for assigned area, to profitably achieve qualitative and quantitative targets for life cycle management, service products and solutions.
Analyze service market potential, with full focus on installed base penetration and ensure customer relationship management
Lead and develop the Service Sales team to exceed the sales targets through high performance, in order to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Participates in negotiations of major contracts to secure service sales volume.
Establishes long term customer relationships with key customers and decision makers by understanding the requirements, regulations and exhibiting high expertise in technical solutions and products.
Ensures customer satisfaction issues are registered and responded to by the wider team.
Collaborates with Business Units and account teams to position different service offerings.
Coaches the team in formulating sales plans, in negotiating, and in developing customer segment expertise. Actively demonstrates one approach and guides direct and indirect subordinates

The Person

This is the perfect role for someone with a passion for building and developing long-standing relationships to ensure customer success, alongside the following skills and experience:

Proven experience in either a service of sales position
Driven approach to sales, hunger to generate new business
Strong Stakeholder engagement ability to build long term relationships
Self-motivation and ability to work to deadlines
Ability to work remotely as part of a team
Good communication skills
