Senior Project Manager to work on an RPA (robotic processing) & Replacement for ATS (Public Sector client's recruitment application)
Essential:- Evidence of working on projects involving data migration, software development, & technology that enables business transformation. Demonstrable evidence of continuous achievement of key deliverables. Extensive knowledge of Project Management Governance & Assurance. Excellent financial planning & control skills to forecast & track project budgets. Proven experience of managing & mitigating risk
Effective people management skills providing both strong leadership & direction to the project teams that you manage & robust line management.
The successful Senior Project Manager will:
Be responsible for developing, managing & successfully delivering multiple complex, high valued & strategic projects concurrently, to time, budget & quality.
Plan, monitor & report on projects, including delivery timescales, milestones & resource allocation effectiveness.
Adhere to key project elements, product specifications, agreed timescales, project costs, product quality.
Use ServiceNow ITBM to manage & report on the progress of each project.
Undertake effective stakeholder management with programme managers & a range of internal & external stakeholders.
Provide strong leadership to project resources, framework partners & consultants, defining work, ensuring deadlines are understood & adhered to & that the project objectives are clearly articulated & understood.
Be responsible for the management of team members through matrix management of a delivery team. Negotiate & manage key suppliers.
Senior Project Manager Skills & Experience
As the Senior Project Manager you will be able to demonstrate experience & knowledge of the following:
Several years of successful project management experience
Proven experience of successfully managing & delivering multiple highly complex & high value projects concurrently on time on budget to the right quality.
Evidence of working on projects involving data migration, software development, & technology that enables business transformation.
Demonstrable evidence of continuous achievement of key deliverables
PRINCE 2 practitioner or equivalent project management qualification
Extensive knowledge of Project Management Governance & Assurance
Excellent project planning & control skills to track & realise project outputs
Excellent financial planning & control skills to forecast & track project budgets
Proven experience of managing & mitigating risk
Demonstrable evidence of strategic thinking beyond one's own areas of specialism.
Critical thinking & problem-solving skills.
Demonstrable evidence of well developed communication & relationship skills with stakeholders at all levels.
Effective people management skills providing both strong leadership & direction to the project teams that you manage & robust line management
Experience using ServiceNow ITBM (PPM) or other ppm tooling
APM (PMQ &/or PPQ)
Previous Public Sector experience
