Accountant R2RReports to: FinanceManager R2RDepartment: SSFLocation: Rigga, Deira DubaiJob PurposeAsa member of SSF management team, this role will support the FinanceManager in preparation and review of consolidated as well asstand-alone financials for Real Estate entities.KeyAccountabilitiesFinancial Accounting Preparation of consolidatedfinancial statements as well as stand alone financials for realestate entities Chart of Accounts review to ensure business andreporting requirements are maintained current and relevant. BPCdata quality to ensure correct Divisional and Group reporting.Standardization of accounting schedules and implement qualityreview process. Continuous improvement of GLreview process for early warning signals Compliance to the IFRS andGroup Policy and procedures and highlighting the key issues if anyTimely and meaningful analysis prepared. Immediately Highlightdeviations and take corrective action. General LedgerReconciliations & Schedule Review Reconciliation of GLAccounts, preparing action-triggering schedules and taking timelyaction to resolve any issues. Monthly reviews of General Ledger/trend analysis, process improvement, streamline process acrosscompanies. Providing analysis and reports related to open line itemin General ledger and taking required action to clear. Providingsupport in yearly stock audit and yearly closing of booksFacilitate Monthly / Quarterly / Annual books closingEnsure timelines on preparation of financials are met andtake ownership Preparing the checklist and ensuring complianceCo-ordinate with external auditors and ensure timely response,documentation and information Provide appropriate support to allthe stake holders. IFRS and Group policy and proceduresCompliance. Timely and meaningful analysis prepared.Intercompany and Intercompany: Review of all Intercompany and Intracompany transactions and Balances, ensuring the elimination of suchtransactions are carried out properly and accurately Highlightissues around elimination of transactions Ensure fixing of processto avoid such issues in future Based on review and elimination,taking appropriate action Maintaining the appropriate documentationand approvals Qualifications, Experience, & SkillsChartered Accountant (or similar qualification) Excellent writtenand verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
