Prospero Teaching is looking for an experienced Science Technician to work within a secondary school in the Swindon area.
The positions would involve operating scientific machines, preparing classroom resources, helping set up classrooms, managing administrative stock and preparing scientific experiments.
Key skills for the role include:
The preparation of materials and equipment for science lessons
Maintaining science laboratories and preparation rooms and their equipment, and services in good order
General duties in support of the teachers in the Science Department
Experience of dealing with technical issues relating to experiments
Excellent relationship building abilities
Self-managed troubleshooting skills

Minimum rate of pay - Minimum rate £70 per day (depending on experience)
Hours - 8:30 am - 4pm (full day)EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
Previous experience working in a UK school is desirable
Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential)
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related references
