NESFircroft are actively sourcing for a Tendering Engineer to join a growing service business. Reporting to the Sales and Tendering Manager, the Tendering Engineer will create, and complete bids/estimations/quotations based on customer specifications or requirements in order to achieve both market competitiveness and high margin for the Company.

Evaluation of client enquiry documentation and interpretation of their requirements, and assessment of commercial terms and conditions.
Formulate competitive bids/estimates/quotations, taking into account the best available product mix and appropriate technical and commercial considerations for each individual situation.
Manage the preparation of all technical, financial, cash flow and operational delivery aspects of the bid/estimate/quotation, indicating prices and trading conditions.
Identify potential risks and opportunities in contract agreements across customers/channels.
Identifies potential vendors for equipment and materials required in the project and evaluate supplier offers to match with specifications in collaboration with Supply Chain Management.
Establish and maintain effective customer relationships to understand customer needs. Provide any necessary technical support to Sales Managers during meetings with customers.
Assist in the negotiation of contractual terms and conditions.
Maintain the CRM to ensure accurate forecasting and pipeline management.
Work across different business streams, cultures and countries. Your success will depend heavily on your ability to network and build relationships with people from all parts of the organisation, UK and overseas.
Identify client requirements, liaising with internal and external suppliers with close liaison with Sales, Supply Chain Management, Project Management, Planning, Engineering and Commercial functions.
Assist in the Implementation and promotion of all Hitachi ABB Power Grids' policies and procedures for Sales and Tendering
3-5 years previous sales and Tendering experience
Electrical engineering knowledge (in the shape of a formal qualification or experience)
Sound communication, presentation and negotiation skills
Ability to priorities and work to deadlines.
Ability to work under pressure and work on your own initiative.
Good PC skills including but not limited to, Office365, Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
Experience within Transmission & Distribution sector
Experience of Contract terms and conditions, NEC3/4, FIDIC, Orgalime, etc
Full UK Driving License
