Sales Manager - Kuul Evaporative Media

We are looking for a proven Sales Manager who is ready to lead in an ever-changing industry. In the upcoming years, our company will be launching new and revolutionary products that will forever change the landscape of the evaporative cooling market. The products we currently have in testing will specifically target the data center, gas turbine and HVAC cooling market. We are looking for a dedicated sales resource to hyper-focus on the servicing OEMs and design firms of these markets to ensure our brand of evaporative media - Kuul evaporative media - becomes a top-of-mind choice.


Overview of the Role

Objectives

  • Canvas the OEM sector for new customer opportunities
  • Engage with current distributors and OEMs to increase our sales and product awareness
  • Work with Portacool's internal Marketing and Customer Service teams to develop marketing plans, campaigns and initiatives that fit within Company strategic efforts
  • Engage partners to execute sales and marketing initiatives
  • Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel within customer organizations


This position will represent Portacool, LLC and Kuul evaporative cooling media to ensure customers' needs and expectations are met while using independent judgement in managing sales activities of Kuul by performing but not limited to the following duties.

  • Attend trade shows or other exhibitions to promote Company products and services
  • Answer customer and visitor questions
  • Clearly explain or describe value of Kuul products
  • Prospect for new customers in the distribution channels to provide growth of the assigned territory
  • Travel throughout assigned territory to work with distributors and prospective customers for sales calls, meetings and trainings


Candidate Qualifications

  • Sales manager with demonstrable, proven sales and territory experience, preferably in the HVAC or air handling market segment
  • Minimum preferred education: bachelor's degree in connected field
  • Bi-Lingual (English and Spanish) a plus but not required
  • Overnight and extensive travel required in territory
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public
