Up to £38,022.40 including shift allowance

Are you experienced in fault finding to electrical components within the Ex Forces or Rolling stock? If so, I have the role for you!

THE COMPANY

Their UK operation is currently developing, and you can be apart of the Organisation from the very beginning. There will be start-up operations across the UK & NI including vast manufacturing facility here in the UK.

The company have secured a number of high profile orders with full life-cycle maintenance contracts to manufacture and maintain brand new trains and as a result, will look to increase their headcount to meet the demands of these contracts.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

My client is looking for analytical electrical Technicians with an exceptional level of fault diagnosis and root cause analysis expertise, to ensure these New Trains have the reliability expected by the customers. You will have exceptional eye for detail, to ensure the train is safe to go back into service. We are looking for experienced electrical bias ex forces or Rolling Stock Technicians, who will be available to attend an assessment 4th December at 9am in Manchester.

ABOUT THE JOB

This role will require candidates to work shifts on a 24/7 basis, repairing and maintaining Electrical and Mechanical Systems on trains, such as Diesel Engines, Transmissions, HVAC, Traction Control, Brake Systems, doors, pneumatic equipment, and auxiliary equipment, HV circuits, refrigeration equipment, motors, circuit breakers, relays, transformers and insulators. Due to the safety critical environment of the role, you must adhere to H&S guidelines at all times.

THE REQUIREMENTS

Educated to NVQ 3 within an engineering discipline

Fault Diagnosis experience

Able to interpret electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic schematic diagrams

Salary up to £38,022.40 + Pension + 25 Days Holiday + BH
