About the teamWe are looking for a Business Development Manager to define and drive the partnership agenda, from regulators and governments to companies in the telecom, financial services, logistics, and travel industry. The person in this role has a distinct opportunity to make a tremendous impact on the region and the trajectory of the company. What you'll doActively source, close and manage partnerships with regulators and governmentsActively source, close and manage partnerships with large companies with overlapping target segments such as telecoms, banks and hospitality providersManage complex contract negotiations and work with legal counsel (if required)Lead the implementation of partnerships across different functional unitsManage the business development and sales process in countryWhat you'll need5+ years of experience as Business Development or Sales leader in a high-performing organisationExperience working with the government and regulatorsStrong account management, relationship building and process management skillsAbility to craft and articulate solutions that create win-win outcomes and exciteA solid understanding of company's market: products, players, technologies, and a rolodex of contacts in related marketsTechnology background and experience working in QatarWhere you'll beEven though we are working remotely, we are strong believers in collaboration and the power of building social connections with our teams. You'll be working in the location you're hired from. Due to legal and compensation considerations, you will need to be based out of the country you're hired from as your primary work location.
