Projects Manager or Electrical Manager (Lighting)

Job Description.

Due to a very successful 2019 where the company turned over 2 million pounds, they have an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to come in to manage and support the multiple projects they have on the go and any further projects obtained in the future.

They focus on survey, specification, design, deployment, service and maintenance.

Job Description

To manage and support multiple projects and ensure budget costs are maintained on all projects

Role responsibilities

Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the execution of projects
Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders
Ensure resource availability and allocation
Update the project tracker/plan daily to ensure it is always live
Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
Measure project performance using the project tracker and cost control tools and techniques
Report and escalate to management as needed
Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
Perform risk management to minimize project risks
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
The creation and implementation of RAMs
The survey and costing of smaller projects
Ensuring the correct materials are ordered for a project and are within budget
Ordering plant and equipment for the projects and ensuring in the budget
Management and supervision of subcontractors
Support the Directors in all aspects of the business
Create project packs

Good Microsoft Word and EXCEL knowledge
Experience of Project management of projects to the value £100 - £500k
Material ordering and specification
Electrical knowledge preferable
Full UK driving licence
