They have a unique opportunity for a Process Development Engineer to help them deliver and roll out their SMART factory program which will significantly generate huge cost savings and increase productivity.

This varied role will see you stepping into the future by helping them achieve operational excellence by identifying and exploring innovative automation opportunities within the company
You will be working alongside the Process Development Manager, the Digitalisation Engineer, ICT, System integrators, Designers and a host of industry experts to help deliver a cost effective SMART factory programme, introduce new technologies to the production department and prepare for Big Data analysis and machine learning
Support the Smart factory PoC project (integration of IIOT sensors to legacy equipment) and the Machine Monitoring project (using object-based programming and microcomputers)You will have the opportunity to overcome technical challenges that you didn't think could be solved; but with the right support you will and in doing so will make a name for yourself
You should have at least 1 years' experience in a project-based role (this could have been obtained within an academic project),
Educated to a minimum BTEC HNC or equivalent in an engineering discipline
You should be technically savvy and have a passion for intelligent industrial/manufacturing technologies and a genuine desire to move the business forward
Basic knowledge of programming (Python, C++ or Java Script)
Knowledge of Automation, electronics, sensing and programming
