Job Details Grade: 9A
Hourly Rate: £17.75 - £19.40
Salary: £32,403.57 - £35,414.82 per annum
Contract Duration:Temporary until 27/09/2020
Role Purpose To lead the development of the Children and Young People's Participation Strategy and co-ordinate the implementation of this strategy, operationally managing activities required to meet key priorities. This will require liaison with key stakeholders across the Scottish Borders with a focus on children and young people along with service providers and members to ensure that
• The voice of children and young people is heard
• Children and young people help shape their services
• More children and young people participate and engage in a range of activities with an emphasis on citizenship and being involved in the democratic process.
• Equity is a key consideration in all participation.

Essential Educated to degree level or with equivalent relevant experience
