Due to continued success and growth, we are now looking to recruit an Outage Project Engineer for our Regional team, predominantly supporting our Dunbar and Peterborough Energy Recovery Facilities, with wider support across the Viridor ERF fleet will be required at times.
The ideal Outage Project Engineer:
-Experience of health, safety and environment legislation relevant to process or power industry
-Experience of PSSR legislation and the management of Pressure Parts installation and repair.
-Experience managing contractors to deliver agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPI's)
-Experience outage management to successfully deliver work packages to deadlines.
-Engineering qualifications with a minimum of HNC (or equivalent), With a proven experience of power industry plant outage delivery.
-IOSH (or equivalent) safety qualification.
-Full driving licence
Outage Project Engineer Responsibilities include:
-Assist the site management in the planning, scheduling and delivery of the plant outages.
-Working across the sites to ensure all planned and emergent works are successfully delivered to maximise optimal long-term availability of the plant
-Draft work scopes and manage Outage support documentation
-Deliver plant modifications and improvement projects across the sites
-Support the Site Engineering managers in the day to day delivery of the Outage period to ensure that target completion dates and critical path tasking remains on schedule.
-Provide support and guidance to the site Engineering & Maintenance teams in the event of breakdown to assist in co-ordinating contractor support and advice on repair solutions to minimise plant down time and ensure effective repair methods are planned and delivered.
-Conduct RCM reviews of mechanical maintenance procedures to deliver increased equipment availability.
-Present written and verbal reports on mechanical engineering aspects of the site equipment, maintenance performance and sustainability issues
