Assystem Energy & Infrastructure are recruiting for a Nuclear Substantiation Engineer to be based in Derby on a contract basis. This role will be based on our client's site on Raynesway, Derby.

In this role you will be tasked to deliver Engineering Substantiation integration into Periodic Review of Safety (PRS) projects.

Hours: 37 hours per week minimum
Duration: Until Nov 2021

What we are looking for in applications:

Degree (or equivalent) in a science or engineering based subject, or equivalent experience
Experience of producing and managing design substantiation reports for facilities to support nuclear safety case
Awareness of industry good practice with regard to conduct of a PRS, such that relevant learning from experience (LFE) can be applied
Experience and of working as part of a multi discipline team
An understanding of safety case implementation
