On behalf of Aker Solutions, we are now looking for two Working Environment Engineers for Valhall or NOA project.
â Ensure performance of Working Environment studies/activities/initiatives to ensure compliance with all regulatory and Company's working environment requirements
â Ensure that the Working Environment activities will be performed according to contract / plan / milestones
â Ensure that the Working Environment reports will be issued according to Master Document Register.
â Responsible for conducting and follow-up of working environment activities in accordance with all regulatory and Company's working environment requirements. Ref. requirements in NORSOK S-002.
â Review functional requirements, design basis and scope of work to plan WE activities and to clarify requirements
â Arrange regular discipline meetings with Company and Aker S. to inform, discuss and agree items related to Working Environment
â Provide qualified input to design matters in design with regards to working environment
â Follow up vendor packages
Main tasks Working environment Engineer
â Establish Working Environment program
â Establish Working Environment design specification
â Establish HSE checklist for packages and equipment
â Establish Working environment area limits (WEAL)
â Establish format for WEAC
â Participate in layout reviews and evaluation of layout changes. (Combined layout /WE design review)
â Facilitate and document Working Environment Health Risk Assessment (WEHRA), including Job Hazard Analysis, ergonomic task analysis and radiation risk assessment.
â Facilitate and document chemical health risk assessment (CHRA).
â Provide WE information to other disciplines
â Facilitate and document outdoor operations study
â Input to package specification. Participate in bid clarification meetings with the vendor.
â Follow-up of procurement packages (general WE analyses of packages, design reviews, review of supplier documentation)
â Participate in multidiscipline layout reviews and multidiscipline user group meetings.
Work location can be Oslo or Stavanger.
2 years initial contract with options for extensions.
