The Nike Pro at Finish Line serves as the connection point to the creation and delivery of the Nike Consumer Experience in Finish Line's Del Amo store and in other key locations throughout the Los Angeles area. The Nike Pro is Finish Line's resident expert on anything and everything Nike. From the latest technologies and performance innovations to understanding sneaker culture and local style, the Nike Pro at Finish Line is responsible for leading and inspiring customers and Finish Line associates with their brand knowledge, digital leadership and passion for customer service and a constant drive to deliver an epic finish at every touchpoint. The Nike Pro at Finish Line will be committed to continual learning and development and to spreading their knowledge and passion through relationship building and training in other Finish Line locations. During peak traffic hours, the Nike Pro will play a critical role in the overall Nike Consumer Experience in the store by sharing their passion, product knowledge and customer service expertise directly with Finish Line customers. Key position responsibilities include: Drives the service culture in the store including the integration of product, storytelling, visual merchandising and digital services. Leverage digital tools and infrastructure to influence and educate the consumer on all services. Enhances the overall Nike consumer's experience Obsesses the details of the consumer's journey and needs. Becomes a key conduit for local market feedback to Finish Line and Nike marketing, merchandising and operations groups. Energizes, Inspires and educates key LA market Finish Line associates on consumer trends surrounding pop culture, music, sport, innovation and the key influencers of sneaker culture. Plays a key role on the in-store innovation team by representing the voice of the consumer and the opportunities to engage and connect through digital integration into the store environment. Ensures that all visual merchandising and in-store digital experiences are 100% executed to brand standards and service levels. Attends and facilitates in-store Nike brand events and activations. Also provides basic content capture for use in social media and internal recaps Supports key Nike product launch plans in Del Amo and surrounding stores through associate education/engagement, event activation and program documentation. Is the key ambassador for Nike SKU training for the Los Angeles area Finish Line associates Provides selling assistance of Nike products to Finish Line associates during peak mall traffic times Additional duties and projects as required. Minimum Requirements Required Education and/or Experience Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in Marketing, Advertising or Communications from a four-year college or university or equivalent combination of education and experience. 2-3 years of of marketing, digital and/or retail experience required. Required Computer and/or Technical Skills Should have basic to intermediate knowledge and abilities with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Should be well-versed and a power use of current social media platforms including SnapChat, Instagram and Facebook. Core Competencies: Communication Skills Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to write and present policies and procedures for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to general employees, top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors. Ability to motivate and promote a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Decision Making and Problem Solving Skills Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Ability to assess risk and make decisions that could have significant impact on the company.
