The Role:

As a customer focused, results-orientated, business to business organisation, working across a wide range of industry sectors, your target audience is predominantly at the senior management/board level of large and blue chip companies … decision makers and high level influencers in organisations such as M&S Money, BT, Shell, Pilkington, Hills Petcare, Honda (UK), Close Brothers, Prudential and Volvo Trucks - to name but a few of our customers.

Your job is to seek out like-minded people, of the right calibre, vision and integrity, who have front line responsibility (and purchasing power) for delivering sustainable business growth.

Through initiating and developing compelling customer relationships with all contact levels (face to face, on the telephone and in written form), within target organisations, your primary role is the generation, management and conversion of quality new business opportunities/leads into sales.

You are required to build a sustainable sales pipeline, dominated by a keen emphasis on new business generation, using your skills to create need, build value and enable us to deliver irresistible business solutions that precisely fit the express needs of the customer.

A key element of the role requires you to follow up, by phone, on marketing initiatives and successfully connect with your target audience.

About You:

You are self-motivated, customer-oriented, sales focused and a persuasive expeditor, with the ability to communicate credibility and create a positive and enthusiastic first impression.

Ambitious, articulate, versatile and target driven, you are adept at opening up and developing meaningful dialogue (on the phone and face to face), possessing an innate ability to see beyond the initial business opportunity, in order to broaden it out and ensure that the customer understands and receives exactly what is needed.

With a well-developed sense of personal accountability you are commercially savvy and quickly able to assimilate and deal with complex ideas and concepts, make swift analyses and judgements, negotiate systematically and manage/organise time.

Above all, you are a natural relationship builder, with an appropriate blend of patience, vision, self-belief and drive to achieve the right outcomes.

Your Skills and Experience:


Understand the intricacies of organisational change and its impact on people and performance


Board level relationship management skills


Proven B2B sales track record in similar role/industry


Commercially astute, tenacious and creative in your approach


Highly literate, with proposal writing and presentation skills


Ability to multi-task and work within a framework, where priorities often shift and/or conflict


Understand the politics of customer decision-making


Strategy based approach on how to sell to prospect/customer, with best product/solution fit for organisation


Exceptional telephone manner


Positive, resilient and action-oriented
